Snapchat


Snapchat is a photo-sharing application or programme. It was launched in 2011. It allows users to take pictures and videos and share them with their friends.
Photos and videos of Snapchat are called snaps and once they are viewed by your friends, they disappear. Snapchat users are called Snapchatters. A snapback is a reply to a snap.
Snapchat allows users to add their own drawings or notes to the photos and videos they send to their friends. Users can use different colours from the colour palette to create their drawings. Users can also add a line of text directly to their images or videos.
Users of this app can also set a timer for how long they want their photos or videos to be viewed. However, the timer can only be set between one and ten seconds. Users can also add a picture or video to their Snapchat Story so they can be viewed for an unlimited number of times over a 24-hour period.
